The location near Lages is good, there’s private parking, and breakfast is decent. The ground‑floor apartment had a window under an external staircase that made the room a bit gloomy, the blinds weren’t secure, and there were some damp patches on the walls.

The building itself has a nice sea view. Inside, we were given a room under the stairs with no windows to look out from. We didn’t want to stay there for a day, so we paid the loss and left.

The room was clean, the bathroom was large enough, and the view was great (though see the negative point). Breakfast was fine—Azores style, basically. Plenty of parking spots were available. The pool was safe and pleasant in summer. The big window in the room forced us to keep the blinds down, otherwise you could see in.
