Great staff, very warm, welcoming and helpful. Food was also good and filling. There's construction happening around the hotel so it's noisy
“Sicuramente torneremo”
New and very clean. The restaurant on the top floor is truly wonderful. The staff were kind and competent.
“Fantastic stay! The greatest staff and the most stunning rooftop”
I was blown away by everything here! The hotel sits just 10 minutes from the airport, making arrival after a long flight a breeze. Larissa at reception was incredibly welcoming and handled everything from currency exchange to arranging transport to Lake Kivu, and Denise the supervisor even gave me her personal number to ensure I reached my destination safely. The photos match reality; the rooms are roomy, the beds cozy, and the rooftop is amazing with a view and food that are unforgettable. I would highly recommend this boutique hotel and plan to return.
“Tres bon hotel pour passage court”
The view from the room, very clean, quality bedding, the decor and ambiance of the restaurant and the view are all great! No sound isolation between the room and the hallway. There’s also a lot of outside noise. The shower leaks outside. The restaurant staff are very pleasant but the food is average: the lamb was tough like a sole when we asked for it rosé. Long wait at breakfast. And their formula isn’t great; everything extra is paid, like a second coffee, for example.
We really enjoyed our stay at Luma and Lia. The place was comfortable, welcoming, and made our trip even more enjoyable. Everything was lovely, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Kigali. A special thank you to Denise for being so kind, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay. Your hospitality truly stood out and made us feel at home. We appreciate you ❤️
