“Good location, ok room”

The location is great – perfect for sightseeing. I assume the scaffolding in front of the building has been there for a while, so the photos are really misleading; there is absolutely no view like the ones in the pictures. My room was at the back and had no view at all. The room smelled like a public toilet, like a McDonald’s restroom on a bad day. The lady at reception was rude and barely spoke English. I don’t expect the world to cater to English speakers, but she works in a tourist hostel! Checking in felt like a chore to her, and I almost felt I should have apologized for her inconvenience.

The location is superb, and the shower is large and spacious. The walls are really thin, so you hear everything from outside.

The location right in front of Callao is great, though the entire frontage is blocked by construction work. There was only one elevator and you had to wait a long time.

Only the location was good. Sound from outside seeped into the rooms; we could never sleep because it felt like a shared room. The shower didn’t provide enough water, and even after reporting it, nobody fixed it – we had to ask for toilet paper because they wouldn’t provide it. I really feel this place is nice and has a great location, but they should not ignore the noise issue; it’s unbearable to stay somewhere where you can’t rest.

“Para voltar a repetir sem dúvida”

The rooms were amazing, and the silence was something I value a lot. Breakfast was on an incredible rooftop! Nothing to point out.
