“猫さま同伴できます!”
The most remarkable thing is how happily they accept cats with a smile; the bed is only forbidden for cats, yet the quilt has cute embroidery that makes me nod; cats can roam under the bed, near the window, and on the TV shelf, and the room is spacious enough that bringing a cat bed doesn’t cause trouble. The owner or staff were very considerate, treating our shy family kindly, which was much appreciated. The Tsuchiho Onsen offers a one‑coin communal bath and free foot bath, and the hotel’s non‑onsen water bath actually suited me very well, leaving me satisfied; the cat‑foot bathtub was adorable. We could also go to the roof, where the sea is a bit hard to see but the mountain view is stunning, and on clear nights we could see many stars, giving us a new excitement for the next visit. I hope to stay again often. On the downside, every time I went downstairs the staff would come out deliberately, which felt a bit apologetic, and I worried that the long unlocking hours might be tiring; perhaps it’s just my first time, so I’ll keep staying to see if they remember.
