The location is great, and the town’s free lake is a nice perk; the staff are friendly and the rooms stay clean and cool when you ventilate them in summer. Free parking is available even in the evenings, and the food is said to be good, though I never tried it. The shower cabin in my room leaked a bit, so I had to wipe the floor after each shower, but towels were changed daily.

The reception was very warm thanks to Frau Diez, and we got to meet Klaus and Rosi. The room was perfectly fine. The bakery is only 50 m away and the lake is a 5‑minute walk. Bikes can be stored in the garage. I would stay here again.

The dinner was excellent! Thanks for the German hospitality! The internet connection was spotty, but whatever they do there, they get it sorted.

A charming old hotel in the village with a great spot to relax; the town’s swimming lake is nearby and the rooms stay cool in summer. The shower cabin wasn’t fully sealed, so I had to dry the floor each time, but new towels are supplied daily, so it’s not a big issue.
