The location, breakfast, and overall cleanliness and comfort were great, yet it seemed COVID hit the place hard: the pool was gone and the cafe moved from the abandoned 9th‑floor rooftop to the hotel lobby.

The room was dirty and old, the pool had no water, and the staff were so noisy at lunch that I couldn’t nap.

I was really looking forward to staying in this beautiful hotel, and the suite was indeed superbe - the breakfast was also top-notch. However, the minimalist reception area was a bit of a letdown, and the fact that no one spoke English made it really difficult to communicate. To make matters worse, there was no one to help us with our bags, which was pretty disappointing for a four-star hotel.
