Breakfast was very good and the staff were friendly. There is no fire exit from the top floor except a very narrow twisting staircase, and the paper‑thin walls make the place noisy.

The Diadem staff were brilliant and took excellent care of us. After a tough day of cycling they helped us store our bikes in the secure store and ensured we had everything we needed, including an early breakfast. The only oddity was a huge fridge in a small twin room that seemed a bit random.

The host was nice and clean, very good. Nothing to add.

The location and amenities were great—close enough to walk to but far enough to stay quiet at night. Plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. Breakfast offered many choices and the food was good quality. The room we stayed in was spacious, had a fridge, hot‑drink station, and a big fan! The bed was large and comfortable. Free parking was nearby. The host did everything possible without being overpowering. My only suggestion would be a blind or curtain for the small far window in the room we stayed; otherwise, nothing we didn’t like at all!

The hotel is beautiful and clean; the owners were lovely and did everything they could to help. The location is excellent, just a 2‑minute walk to the central promenade. No dislikes.
