Nice historic building, friendly host, but a lot of mosquitoes and a poorly maintained screen caused us to leave early.

The breakfast was delicious, served by a meticulous host who offered walk and activity tips for the area, and the trip to Crest with nearby swims was a hit during the heatwave. However, the room had a double bed instead of two single beds, and we didn’t have a private lounge or terrace like the other rooms, a choice that wasn’t offered initially. A cancellation later gave us a better, pricier option, but we were already settled.

Very cozy and a nice hostess. We had a small garden, which was lovely. The only downside is that you can’t easily haul a suitcase to the apartment if you’re older or have mobility issues.
