Breakfast was good, varied, and offered a truly adequate selection. However, the baked rolls were lacking. The service was far from as good as it had been a few years ago (2019) when we had stayed at the castle hotel. When we arrived at 9:00 am for breakfast, everything was only half ready: the cold cuts and cheese were missing, the hot items were still under rigid lids, and the staff was clearly under pressure. When we tried to pay before breakfast, the reception was unoccupied; all doors were open, yet no one heard us calling. Finally, after breakfast, a member of the service staff came over to the reception with us and we could pay at last.

The location is interesting. The hotel is pleasant, rooms are clean and atmospheric. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is at a good level. Parking is spacious. The only downside is the occasional noise from other rooms, though it is not very bothersome. There is no restaurant.

The staff were very pleasant and personal, and the breakfast room doubles as a museum. We were lucky to be there on the day of the monument and got a tour of the whole castle. However, there was no notice that no restaurant is attached and none nearby, so don't come hungry.

I stayed just one night; everything essential and needed was available. Breakfast was really good and varied! The atmosphere of the castle was very special. As in many accommodations, the bathroom was a bit cramped for toiletries and items; a few shelves or a rack would have helped.
We were almost the only guests, but everything was fine; the manager was very friendly and took us to a local festival that evening because there were no restaurants left in town. It was super.
