“cleanliness, big room, nice view, reception staff, lovely location”

Everything in the room and the bathroom was clean, and the bed linen and towels were spotless white; the room was huge, with a hairdryer, complimentary bottled water, and tissues as nice added touches; I had a room with a lovely view of the hilly forested suburbs of Xiamen; my special thanks go to the lovely receptionist Ms. Xiao Xu, who was always very helpful and did her best to fulfill all my needs and wishes, she called the taxi for me, made sure it arrived on time, and helped me settle the taxi bill; she never stopped offering any kind of help to make my stay at Yingji Guesthouse unforgettable; I would recommend a stay at Yingji Guesthouse to anyone. Thank you.

The owner lady is super kind and always ready to help with any question. The only downside was that some guests were smoking in the building.

Room was huge, clean, and the service was enthusiastic. The location is unbeatable – you can walk to Nanputuo Temple, Xiamen University, Shapowei, and the ring road, and it's only a few kilometers from Zengcuoan. Getting to Gulangyu is a quick bus ride from the nearby stop. The area is full of old‑town eateries, great for breakfast and dinner. The only thing that could be better is the hotel sits on a 100‑200 meter slope, so it can be a bit tiring for older folks.
