“Déçu”

The room was nice but not outstanding, the staff were friendly, yet the walls are very thin so we could hear everything on the other side, the bathroom was not clean with hair and fur everywhere, which was very disappointing.

This hotel tops my list! The location in the Gothic Quarter is superb, everything is nearby: cafés, restaurants, shops, pharmacy. The rooms have air‑conditioning, which is rare for Barcelona.

“Very deceiving Hostel, passing as a Hotel. Inflated fees.”

The location is fine, but this place isn’t advertised as a hostel and charges like a regular hotel. It’s not suitable for people with luggage, only for students or those crashing for one night in town. I had to carry three pieces of luggage myself up to the second floor where the elevator is. The biggest letdown was that they didn’t honor the confirmation I received, which said I could check in between 8:00‑9:00 AM without extra fees; they refused because the confirmation wasn’t from them. By then I had already been three days without sleep, and my check‑in was delayed until after noon.

The location is perfect, the staff are lovely, and the room was ideal for solo travel, just a bit noisy but that's expected in a hostel so nothing to worry about.
