Villa Gravis Hotel Restaurant Cocktail Bar

We stayed in a refurbished room inside an old building in a small village near a road that has a café and a restaurant. The countryside scenery was beautiful, and the sea was a 15‑minute walk away, with a stunning beach. We were kindly allowed to check in early. The staff communication was excellent, and the room had a coffee maker with good coffee. We slept wonderfully. The Wi‑Fi and TV didn’t work, but that didn’t bother us at all.

The location was great and quiet. The building needs renovation and maintenance; the rooms had a stale smell and mold in the bathroom. The linens were clean but not ironed and were changed every three days.

“Bella struttura in un punto strategico, ma c'è ancora parecchio da fare.”

The spot was top near Canneto Beach, reachable on foot. The manager was always available and responsive, and the restaurant staff were always friendly and helpful. The bathroom had widespread mold on the ceiling and walls. Despite the manager’s good intentions to scrub the mold superficially, the issue reappeared in the following days with an unpleasant odor. The outdoor areas beyond the restaurant were few, poorly maintained, and somewhat abandoned.

“A caccia di formiche”

The location was great. The property wasn’t well maintained; inside the apartment we found a nest of ants and other insects, the towels were old and evidently poorly washed (even though the owner claimed they were sent to a laundry and washed at 90 °C). The cleanliness level was clearly subpar, even terrible. The shower didn’t work well, making it uncomfortable to wash, and the brush was black because of the mess. Absolutely avoid.

The cleanliness and view were excellent. All that’s missing is a larger mirror so you can see yourself in full.
