The bed was comfortable and the kitchen facilities were great. However, the host gave conflicting information: they said there were no linens but there were, yet there were no towels or bathroom accessories. The pool table was in terrible condition, even though I had asked before booking because that was my main reason to stay. The host had assured me it was perfect, with good cues and balls. The air‑conditioning didn’t work, the main shower took a long time to heat, and there was bureaucracy to open and close the main gate. At minimum, each unit should have its own key instead of sharing one controller.

“Estadia com vista linda e muito paz.”

My husband and I stayed at this property for the seventh time. Monteiro Lobato is charming, and we love Tia Nastácia for the privacy and excellent upkeep; the chalet was always clean, fragrant, and fully equipped with kitchen utensils and appliances. We rarely used the pool because it was usually too cold, but the view is amazing! Miriam the owner is very flexible, and Alexandre the manager is attentive and very polite. We’ll definitely return; kudos to Miriam, Alexandre, the caretaker, and his wife.

The place was spotless and stunning; I really liked it. Everything was well equipped, and the staff were excellent.

“Recomendo”

We stayed at the Chalé Orquídea, which was very well equipped. I didn’t see any staff, but it’s ideal for those who want peace. However, if you have a large car, maneuvering is difficult because the terrain is quite uneven, though it’s still worth it.
