The bedroom had an insane sea view and was a special spot for sunsets and disconnecting; the outdoor bathroom was a great experience and the a la carte breakfast was very good. However, the beach and pool were not accessible, and our arrival at the reception was very slow and quite uncomfortable; the dinner options were very limited.

- The biggest call out has to go to Bhargav, who mans the front desk. He is the heart and soul of this property and goes out of his way to make your stay comfortable - The property has been laid out really well. The greenery and the hilltop are fabulous - The rooms are really nice. I love how big the bathroom is and how it has been divided away from the bedroom. Then there was the balcony in the greenery. The room was so good that all we wanted to do was stay in. We really had to push ourselves to go explore the rest of the property - The rest of the staff was really sweet as well - from the onground team that drove us around the property to the restaurant staff who became like friends. Shoutout to Stuart(?) from the restaurant who, so excitedly, sang Happy Birthday for my wife and made the evening just a bit more special - The panoramic view from the hilltop heals your soul. - Ok, this a scathing point but there is a constant feeling that they are trying to earn more money from you. It feels like you've entered a no frills airline where breathing will also be charged for. "This will cost this much." / "That will cost that much". It was all a bit much. Being told that they normally charge for WiFi access but they are giving it to us for free as a gift felt so funny - like, are we in 2008? The 100 SCR charge for room service felt so unnecessary. You aren't a cheap establishment that you are asking for money to bring (already expensive) food to the room? Likewise the cost for a basic set-up on the beach - The food options are extremely limited. We were through with all we wanted to eat from the menu by our third meal - On the last day, once Bhargav left his shift, we asked for toilet and tissue paper in our room at 10am when we went for breakfast. We had to call them thrice and message on the WA number multiple times before the housekeeping staff finally turned up at ~2pm with a half apology and a rude comment about how they were very busy. This was honestly quite an insulting experience - these are some of the very basics that were required for hygiene and they made us wait for 4 hours!

The rustic island vibe feels real; the villas and rooms are very spacious and comfortable. It feels a little dated despite renovations, and the minibar and outlets could be updated.

Everything was excellent—the rooms, facilities, and staff, including Prakash, Joberta, Dhanjit, and the chef, were all very helpful and nice. The only complaint is that some staff, especially in the restaurant, were a bit rude, but that’s just nitpicking.
