“Lovely stay”

We slept very well in a very clean, comfortable room. Chickens around added a nice touch. Sean was very friendly—thanks, Sean. We missed the BBQ because of the weather, but it would be great in better weather. There was nothing to dislike.

The privacy, Sean’s friendliness, and the personal effort he made for us were outstanding. The cabin/lodge itself was amazing, beautifully built, and Sean’s care shows. The grounds were beautiful and the weekend stay was fantastic—nothing to complain about!

We had a lovely weekend stay for my husband’s birthday—peaceful and a nice escape from the city. Sean was friendly, welcoming, and readily available whenever we needed something. We’ll definitely come back!

“Peace and quiet in the countryside.”

The lodge was very clean with a very comfortable bed, and you have your own gas BBQ. There’s a wonderful BBQ hut you can hire. The lodge sits in a very quiet, peaceful place, perfect for exploring the surroundings. Sean greeted us on arrival and replied to our texts within minutes whenever we had questions—overall, a very relaxing stay.

“Very peaceful and beautiful location”

Everything about the stay was wonderful. All the small details that normally go amiss in lodges like this have been thought out so carefully. We loved all the small attention to details like fresh flowers , local maps, endless books and trinkets. The Deer Lodge was wonderfully decorated and came with all the things you need like kettle, coffee machine and fridge etc. A personal highlight was hearing Owls hooting around on our little campfire just before sunset. Thank you for the warm welcome on arrival, we will definitely be coming back!. There was nothing not to like. We loved out stay in the Deer Lodge
