“Bon allotjament”

We were able to leave our luggage before check‑in because it was raining heavily and we couldn’t do much. They have a kids’ play area. The rooms are fine and the mattresses are comfortable, so we slept very well. There is an outdoor bathing area, like an onsen, which is very good. It’s not luxury, but that’s fine. We could eat what we bought at the tables without problems. The location is okay, close to a bus stop that takes you down to the lake, although we walked down and took the bus back up. If the weather had been better, the views from the accommodation would have been great. The kids’ area could be cleaner and it smelled a bit damp.

“コスパ最高”

The private hot spring was a great perk – you could use it whenever you wanted, and the hallway even had a microwave, a kettle, and a toaster, which was handy because Hakone has so many good bakeries. I also appreciated being able to grab a light snack at night when I got hungry. The building has a historic feel yet stays clean, and breakfast was packed with vegetables, yogurt, juice, and coffee, making it very filling; the salted croissants were especially tasty. Unfortunately, I stayed on a bad‑weather day, but I still caught a view of Ashinoko. The Wi‑Fi, however, was weak, which was a downside.

The view from the open-air bath was great. The weeds leading up to the entrance should be trimmed.
