The views were amazing, the pool area was great, and I liked the restaurant menu. The staff were very helpful. The spa was sublime. It’s a great place to relax and unwind.

I strongly advise anyone thinking of staying here to reconsider, especially if you’re carrying cash or valuables. During our stay, a large amount of money was stolen from our belongings even though everything was locked away. We took reasonable precautions, yet someone still accessed and took our money. This is a severe security issue and utterly unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. Even worse was the hotel’s response—or lack of it. We called, sent WhatsApp messages to a number they gave us, and emailed multiple times to report the theft. Each time staff said they would speak with a manager and that someone would contact us within the hour, but no one ever followed up. We were repeatedly told we would receive a call, only to hear nothing. The theft itself was disturbing, but the hotel’s handling of the situation was equally disappointing. When a guest reports that their belongings have been stolen from a supposedly secure area, the proper response should be an immediate investigation, communication, and accountability. Instead, we had to chase the hotel for any reply. For a property that presents itself as reputable and high‑quality, this experience is completely unacceptable. Guests should feel their belongings are safe when locked up inside the hotel. We share this review so others know before booking. The lack of accountability and communication from management is incredibly frustrating, and we would not stay here again. Beware if you’re considering a stay.

“Ein schöner Aufenthalt, aber leider wenig für Veganer.”

The view from our room down to Baños was breathtaking, and the pools and overall outdoor area were beautiful and well maintained. The vegetable garden addition was great. The staff spoke very little English, and vegan options were extremely limited—there were no alternatives. Smaller accommodations handled this better than this 5‑star hotel.
