The room was smelly and dirty, so I was moved to another room. The staff let another guest try to discuss the need to move rooms with me, and the conversation with staff continued. It was noisy.

The place is on the main street. The club frequented by college students on weekends until 02:00h is right next door, so the noise level is accordingly high. The furniture from the 60s is completely worn out. The bathroom was modernised, but unfortunately by DIY workers: after showering the water stays 25% under the shower curtain. Overall, €110 is still far too much for what’s offered.

The motels in town were full, so they gave us a room that hadn’t finished renovations. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We had booked before we arrived, but when we got there we were told no rooms were available because of renovations. Then, as we were leaving, staff came out and offered us a room that was still under renovation and added an extra $30+ to the price. The sign outside the motel didn’t mention renovations and still advertised free breakfast, which they didn’t have. I’d stayed at this motel before, so I was very disappointed.

I was really impressed with the kitchenette and the comfortable bed in our room. However, when I stripped the bed at the end of our stay, I found some pretty gross stains on the pillows, which was a bit of a letdown. The room had been recently updated, but the contractor who did the work didn't do a great job of cleaning up the edges of the tiles and fixtures. There were also some paint speckles on the sink and bathroom cabinet, which was a bit annoying.
