“Solides Hotel nahe der S-Bahn nach Starnberg oder München”
Close to the train station and the Indian restaurant with garden dining was delicious.

The location was great, and everything else was fine.

The hotel is located right next to the S‑bahn station in a quiet area, just as described. The room was adequately equipped and mostly clean. However, there is no lift, no air conditioning, and it sits directly above a restaurant whose patio can be heard when the windows are open.

The place is very nice and quiet, rooms come with the usual TV and hairdryer. Breakfast was a buffet, moderately generous but good. The TV remote only worked for a few seconds at a time, so the battery was dead; I raised the issue (in English, because the very friendly Indian staff spoke little German). They seemed to understand, but nothing was fixed, leaving the TV essentially unusable.
The dinner was the best food I’ve ever had.
