“Luxury in the jungle”
We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Helen the owner did everything possible for us, thinking of everything. The food was fantastic, even for my vegetarian wife. The room was incredible with the best view ever. Luxury surrounded by wildlife with a fantastic soundtrack of birds all day. The local tapirs and coati made a visit especially to see us. If you’re hesitating to book this, don’t just book it, it’s fabulous. Nothing.
We’re thrilled we chose Helen and Steven’s place; the three days we spent there felt like pure luck, with abundance everywhere. They treated us like their own children, handling cleaning, laundry, some of the best food in Costa Rica, transport, and excursions, all with genuine concern for our well‑being 🥹🙏🏽, even showing us Chichi, the house tapir (thanks Steven). It’s hard to leave a place like this. The cabin was spotless, the bed both comfortable and luxurious, and the view was breathtaking. As a vegan and gluten‑free couple, Greenleaf’s chefs were incredibly skilled at crafting customized, delicious meals, and they made me coconut yogurt and chia seeds that were excellent.

The accommodation is a tiny paradise right in nature with a dreamlike view. At the property you can encounter countless animals—we saw tapirs, toucans, macaws, and many others right away… The rooms are lovingly furnished and very, very clean; everything was considered. The food is unbelievably good and fresh ingredients are especially valued. The cocktails were always made with fresh fruit—pure bliss. Helen and Steven, the owners, are insanely dedicated, and for us it felt like family. We’ll come back and stay for several days… Thank you.

The welcome was amazing! Hellen took care of everything even before we arrived, her hospitality is extraordinary. She thinks of every detail and creates a true bubble of well‑being. The place itself is exceptional: our beautiful bungalow, spacious, very clean, and open to nature with an unobstructed view of Drake Bay. It was a pleasure to settle on the terrace and watch the birds, butterflies, bats, monkeys, and many other creatures. The little magical touch: brushing teeth while admiring hummingbirds right before our eyes! The central pavilion with the bar and dining area is a cozy spot, also open to the forest and Drake Bay. Meals are homemade, balanced, and tailored to each guest—every time a delight! Hellen and Steven organized our trip to Corcovado Park, where everything was perfectly orchestrated and we just had to let ourselves be carried. Huge thanks for these exceptional moments!
