The spot is gorgeous, with a nice view, but the hotel sits far from the city centre and taxis are pricey to get there.

The location is truly fantastic, especially the cabin with its view – a real gem. Being surrounded by nature gives a special vibe, and you can unwind nicely in the balcony hammock. There are a dog and cats around – lovely animals, though they weren’t mentioned beforehand. The cabin is great, but you must be aware of gaps and cracks that let insects in; there’s no mosquito net, so bring your own (you’ll get about 50 mosquito bites otherwise). Bug spray and long clothing are essential. The jungle bathroom is unique but a bit awkward and dirty – expected for an outdoor shower, still cool. There’s no mention of how far it is from Minca, but the road is only reachable by a motorcycle or 4x4 (really bad road). That adds extra cost compared to other transport in Colombia – a 4x4 with luggage cost us 120.000 COP just from Minca to the hotel. Plan for a quick grocery run or similar, otherwise you’ll rely on the hotel for a small breakfast, etc.

The location is amazing, and you feel like you’re floating above the jungle in a beautiful wooden house, completely isolated. The only downside is the internet, which doesn’t work – but that’s not a big deal. You’re far from Minca, so you need to budget 120 pesos each way for the drive up and down.

I loved the place and the service. It would be great to have associated tour guides, plan recommendations, and visitor contacts.
