Hosts Felice and Tina were great, and the location couldn’t have been better. Our room was quite spacious with two toilets, but we thought the seaview apartment had two bedrooms; instead it had a perspex screen with a king bed on one side and a single on the other. The included breakfast was only a voucher for a croissant and a coffee, so my wife, who doesn’t drink coffee, had to pay separately for a cup of tea, which we got at a café two minutes away.

Front of the sea, on the promenade, inside the historic center, the hosts were very attentive and always available. Facing the accommodation, about 25 m away, there is a staircase to descend to the stones and dive into the sea, very pleasant. The bedroom is spacious, has a child’s bed but no window, and on a higher level there is another room with a kitchen, oddly lacking utensils. The bathroom is on that upper level. Light enters only through the door to the street, which has wooden shutters that can be opened. Next time I would stay in the other room with a terrace because the Bombonera is not the best option for an older adult. The parking issue is complicated; it is on the streets, there is no closed parking near the accommodation. It is hard to find a spot, which is common in high season in Italy. But Felice kindly showed us the nearby streets that were most convenient for us.

Felice is a very attentive host. He was very helpful with parking, gave us great tips for outings and restaurants! The location of the accommodation is very central and yet quiet. For tall people the accommodation is not suitable.
