“Great place to relax”

The staff were fantastic, and we enjoyed the pool, beach, and the shaded shuffleboard by the canal. Our room, within walking distance of many great restaurants and a supermarket, featured a kitchen with a full electric stove top and oven, a full‑size fridge/freezer, a coffee maker, toaster, and blender. However, be cautious about supermarket purchases—some meats were already spoiled, and the salads went bad soon after we brought them home. The fridge and freezer in our room struggled to stay cold.

The location and staff were positives, but the building feels somewhat old and has a noticeable odor.

“Bahamas Venice”

The resort is very nice; the channel crossing it gives a beautiful view from the window. The beach at the resort was pleasant with only a few people, and the beach restaurant serves tasty Bahamian food. We had to cut our stay short for personal reasons, but an unexpected room upgrade was great compensation. The reception staff were very friendly, and the lady who helped with tours was nice too. Nothing else to mention.

The place is 30 minutes by taxi from Nassau, but the staff were terrible, the Wi‑Fi didn’t work, prices were absurd, there weren’t enough beach towels for the whole resort, they cleaned the room and delivered fresh towels only after six hours, the beach restaurant seemed tied to the hotel yet operated independently and often forced cash payments, the beach drainage was awful, and the list goes on.
