The countryside spot was lovely, the hosts were kind and the place welcomed dogs, yet the “romantic” room didn’t live up to its name: we bumped our heads on a large metal lamp hanging low over the bed, one of us tripped over a small step to the toilet and another step down to the bathroom area behind a curtain, so it wasn’t romantic after all.

A true little paradise – we spent a fantastic night in the “romantic” room, the whole house was tastefully decorated, the hosts were perfect, and the place was very quiet; the breakfast was special with cakes and homemade Breton crêpes, which were delicious, and the only downside was that we wished we could stay longer.

Although the location might first seem unremarkable in the interior of the country, we found it ideal – you can explore the area star‑shaped from there. The house and our room were lovingly furnished, the owners were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was a refined, local style, and we could also enjoy a tasty dinner at the house; on our last evening we were able to relax in the whirlpool.
