“Really enjoyed our stay at the Pier B Resort Hotel”

My wife and I had a great time at Pier B Resort Hotel. The location is close to Duluth harbor, offering a beautiful view of the Duluth Arial Lift Bridge and easy access to Canal Street restaurants, yet far enough to avoid traffic, parking issues, and noise. We had a few minor room issues, but the view and the HVAC cooling worked well. The Silos restaurant’s menu is interesting, and the outdoor patio gives lovely vistas of Park Point and the lift bridge. It’s fun to hear ships approach the bridge and signal. Every evening the staff lights the pit fires by the harbor and gives guests free s’mores kits—a nice touch. One improvement would be for the cleaning crew to double‑check bathroom fixtures; the sink in our room drained very slowly, something the staff should have spotted and reported. The only real complaint wasn’t about the hotel itself but its location across the canal from Bayfront Festival Park. If you’re staying at Pier B Resort, check for park events that might overlap with your dates. We found a weekend Tribute concert at the park that we didn’t want to attend, and the loud rock music could be heard throughout the hotel and in our room from 11:30 AM to 10:30 PM, which was exhausting and annoying. Just be warned.

“My favorite hotel in Duluth for sure”

I loved the location, services, rooms, and amenities. The only downside was that the TV wouldn’t stream; it wouldn’t load and kept turning itself off, leaving me stuck on a single channel.

The location is unbeatable, with views of the lift bridge and passing ships. We did notice the coffee machine wasn’t thoroughly cleaned, and we wish there were water‑filling stations and an ice machine.

The location was fine. The hospitality TV didn’t work, and because we booked through a third‑party site we couldn’t change rooms.
