The villa is gorgeous, roomy, spotless, and quiet—new and comfortable, a fantastic spot to unwind. The staff were helpful, kind, and very responsive. I can’t wait to return soon! It’s just a five‑minute drive to the cable car and the port.

We spent four nights at Sengokuhara Onsen Ryokan and had a very pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the onsen was a wonderful way to relax after a day of exploring Hakone. The apartment was comfortable and clean, and the location made it easy to reach many attractions by bus. One thing to keep in mind is that the ryokan sits close to the main road, so traffic noise from cars and buses can be heard, especially during the day. It wasn’t a big problem for us, but light sleepers might notice it. Also, there isn’t a sidewalk along parts of the road near the property, so walking requires extra caution, especially when cars are passing or after dark. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the hospitality, comfortable accommodations, and convenient location. It was a solid base for exploring Hakone and experiencing the local onsen culture.

The staff were exceptionally nice, polite, and helpful at all times. From the first moment, we felt warmly welcomed. The accommodation was simply great, beautiful, quiet, and meticulously designed down to the finest detail. The food was excellent. The sauna and bath, combined with the house and the dreamy surroundings, created an utterly magical moment that we will never forget. We had an unforgettable stay here and would love to come back.
