The spot is great and the pool is nice, but the restaurant was shut when it should have been open, and every car‑charging station was broken – a real let‑down since that was why we picked this hotel.

The bed was unbelievably comfy and the staff were the most helpful people I’ve met, but the lights were either on or off, like a game of interrogation or blackout, and the shower misbehaved—though at least the water was hot.
