The staff, especially Ilaria, kept us in the loop with quick, helpful messages about restaurants, bars, and upcoming road closures for a festival. When we arrived the fridge already had milk, juice, and a range of breakfast items. We did wish the outdoor furniture had some cushions, and a set of matching mugs or tumblers would have been nice.

This spot in Salerno is a great place to stay – clean, tidy, comfortable, and with self‑check‑in. The owners were very friendly, and from there we walked to the bus stop heading to Matera.

We liked everything. The location was good, the place was clean, and it had everything we needed for a comfortable three‑night stay. Thanks a lot for a pleasant break. Nothing stood out as negative.

The location was very good, right next to the center, with several restaurants and shops nearby. We had a problem with our arrival time, but the host at least refunded us for one night, which we appreciated even though we’d have preferred better service from the start. We were given the wrong room – we had booked a terrace room but received one without a terrace. We arrived at 13:00 and had to wait until 15:00 for any response, spending two hours at the front desk with our luggage. Breakfast consisted of cheap pastries left in the room. No one came to clean, and we weren’t told when housekeeping would be. The noise from neighbors (especially in the mornings) and the sound of water dripping from pipes was very loud. We don’t recommend this place, even though the refund helped a bit, it didn’t make up for the unpleasant experience.
