The location is spectacular with breathtaking views. It’s very close to Via di Francesco. Walter is very welcoming to pilgrims and knows the history of the village and surrounding region inside and out. It was a great experience in a unique, historic setting, and the homemade breakfast was excellent.

“A perfect stop on the St Francis Way”

Beep Beep is the ideal spot for an overnight stay while walking the St Francis Way, just half a kilometre off the route and worth the extra climb. The views are breathtaking, the setting is incredibly peaceful, and the room is spacious, stylish, and has a very comfortable bed. What made the experience unforgettable was Walter, the host, who went out of his way with interesting conversation and generosity, including a visit to the tiny adjacent church and a rock face with prehistoric drawings. We liked everything.

“Een hele bijzondere en rijke ervaring”

It’s amazing how Walter has renovated and decorated this tower in the style of Game of Thrones. Everything is so well thought out yet still fits the tower itself. Walter is very hospitable and you feel right at home here with the incredible view. I’ve walked through Italy for four weeks but never stayed at a place as special as this. The accommodation is actually perfect. I recommend everyone take a detour to sleep here. All Dutch pilgrims should just take a little detour on the Italian Francesco route.
