The hosts were welcoming, the place was clean, and the Balinese style of the homes was typical. It’s in the center of Ubud, everything within 1 km.
“Lovely place, I am very happy with my stay!”
The spot sits right in the heart of town and stays surprisingly quiet despite the street noise. It’s a lovely Balinese-style compound surrounded by lush greenery, almost like a temple, and the pool—though small—is just right for unwinding. The staff are warm and helpful, making the stay exactly what I wanted. On the downside, the property is a bit tricky to locate; you have to navigate a narrow lane, so clearer directions would help. Nearby, there are bird cages with parrots and other birds—while I appreciated their chirping, I felt uneasy about animals in cages. Also, roosters can be heard crowing loudly at 3 am, so be prepared if you’re sensitive to early‑morning noise.

Die Atmosphäre ist superschön, man fühlt sich wie in einem Tempel. Schöne Anlage mit vielen Pflanzen, wirkt sehr gepflegt. Zimmer sehr geräumig, mit Schrank (!), Betten haben Moskitonetze, was super ist (wobei es nicht viele Moskitos gab), es gibt einen Kühlschrank und Wasserkocher. Was es nicht gibt: TV - braucht man ja auch wirklich nicht. Das Zimmer war sauber und wirkt recht neu. Jedes Zimmer hat eine kleine Terrasse oder Balkon, wo das Frühstück serviert wird (man bestellt es am Abend vorher). Habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Pool ist zwar mini, aber sauber und für eine Abkühlung herrlich. Last but not least: Top-Lage! Im Zentrum und trotzdem ruhig. Ich würde wieder hier übernachten!
Set in a beautiful garden with a nice pool, close to the center but still calm. The room was spacious with a fridge, and the breakfast was very good with many options. The staff were smiling and friendly. The shower floods the bathroom every time it’s used.
The value for money is solid, the grounds are well kept, and the pool is very relaxing.
