The property sits on a hilltop, offering a great view, and you can see animals strolling along the lane that leads from the gate to the estate; the apartments are very well finished and welcoming.

The kittens and the host’s kindness were highlights, but there were many negatives: dirty, broken furniture in the patio, a mediocre breakfast, a toilet that desperately needed descaling, everything was a bit makeshift. In an agriturismo that might be acceptable, but I didn’t feel it was worth the price.
