We booked last minute because other accommodation was not okay. They accommodated our family of 7 and our driver with 30 minutes notice. We loved the chef and his food. The beds and pillows were really comfortable. The location was handy for many things. Again, the chef was outstanding!

The building matched the photos, and the entrance garden was tidy; we had hot water for our showers and the check‑in and check‑out were hassle‑free. The staff tried to accommodate our request for an early breakfast because we had island boat trips planned. On the first day everything ran on schedule, but on the second day the food arrived more than 30 minutes late. The main road is just a quick 5‑minute walk away. However, the photos appear to have been taken a couple of years ago, and the bedroom—especially the bathroom and toilet—was very, very dirty. I literally had to clean a toilet seat that had urine on it. The bedsheets were dusty and the pillowcases smelled like they hadn’t been washed in a while. There was only one towel for two people, and the bathroom fittings had not been cleaned for a long time either, with layers of old toothpaste splatter on the mirror, sink, and tiles. Two cockroaches and ants were present. The kitchen was also very dirty, with splatters and dust everywhere, and the kettle had limestone deposits and dust. This is our experience; we want this place to live up to the name “Palace” and support the local business to thrive. We thank the staff for the positive aspects.

The entire suite was incredible, and we even had a nice room for our driver inside the suite. The staff were pleasant and helpful, though the breakfast was a bit disorganised.
