La Dovecote Sarlat

“Great place to stay, beautiful house, perfect hosts.”

It was a gorgeous place, though hard to locate – it didn’t show up on the car’s satnav, so we had to use Waze. Was it worth it? Absolutely. Vanessa was a wonderful host; when she was away early, Paul took care of us until she returned. Breakfast was amazing: one day Vanessa made a fresh quiche, another she cooked us omelettes. The room was lovely, as were the guest living room and the outdoor area. Vanessa also gave us great tips on where to go, what she liked, and what not to miss. All in all, this couldn’t have been better. Nothing negative.

“Gepflegte schöne Anlage mit Pool”

The property is beautiful and well maintained. The family owners are very kind and helpful, and breakfast is excellent. It’s very quiet, about 10 minutes by car to Sarlat. Many castles and sights are nearby. The rooms are nice with comfortable beds. The pool is lovely. We felt very comfortable!

The place sits in a gorgeous green setting right near Sarlat, everything is beautifully and lovingly decorated. Breakfast was excellent and Vanessa gave us plenty of tips to explore the lovely Perigord. Thanks a lot! Absolutely nothing to complain about.

Everything was brand new and well kept. The welcome was charming, the area very quiet and well situated near tourist sites, parking was easy, and breakfast was excellent with fruit salad and savory items, served inside or outside. A beautiful place I recommend.

“Een absolute aanrader!”

Al meteen toen we de parking opreden wisten we dat dit helemaal ons ding was. Wat een prachtig domein en een prachtig pand! We hebben hier heerlijk geslapen, lekker ontbeten op het terras, genoten aan het zwembad, ‘s avonds ook nog rustig een glaasje kunnen drinken op het terras (uit de honesty bar of een zelf gekochte fles wijn). Vanessa en Paul zijn heel vriendelijk. Alles is ook heel netjes. Alles was tip top in orde!
