The beds were comfortable. The room’s lighting was very poor, and the staff were not accommodating at all. The first room was filthy, with a toilet seat half off and splatter all over the bathroom wall. The phone in the room had a pile of items spilled on it, and the lock was inadequate. I pointed this out to the staff, who wanted to inspect it and then simply moved me to the next room. I asked for a lower‑floor room and was told no—without even checking for availability. I had to make six trips up two flights of stairs. The shower barely warmed, but at least it was hot outside.
