Rian Hotel

The hotel’s location, price, and room size all met my expectations. I especially remembered the tall, glasses‑wearing front desk staff member who was incredibly courteous. All other staff were friendly too, and I received pleasant service throughout my stay. The space between the sink and faucet in the room was too narrow, making it uncomfortable to wash my hands. The cleaning service was also lacking; it seemed there was a shortage of staff, and daily housekeeping wasn’t included automatically. Instead, I had to request it separately each day, even though I asked for daily cleaning from check‑in to check‑out. Repeating the same request every day felt tedious and inconvenient. Overall, improving the room’s convenience and the housekeeping system would be beneficial.

“This was a dark, dingy, depressing hotel and the worst in which I've stayed in a very long time.”

The front desk staff were friendly and kind, and the location was great. Everything else was sub‑par and the worst hotel we stayed at during our entire 4‑country trip, a total letdown, especially for the price. It felt like a Motel 6, and I felt duped by the original listing. The amenities were bargain‑basement level, and the room felt more like a dungeon with poor lighting. The A/C was very noisy, the beds were hard and uncomfortable, and there was a strict limit of 1 extra pillow per room, so my niece and I could not each have 2 pillows since only 3 total were allowed. There was barely any soap in the bathroom, and the toilet was so close to the wall that we kept bumping our elbows on the toilet paper holders. It didn’t feel clean at all, especially with all the cleaning supplies scattered throughout the hallways. Yuck!

Very comfortable and nice space for the room. The free laundry space was a really good addition and as well the lounge room to work was very nice. I will work on the smell of the towels by adding some aroma or replacing them
