The room was very good, the pool was great, parking is secure, and there’s plenty of silence and calm. The access road is ugly, we had trouble with the TV—only one channel and it was tiny. Checkout is too early, from 7 to 10 am; it should be between 11 am and 1 pm. That left us barely enough time to have breakfast and pack. I wish the bathroom had a door instead of a curtain.

After walking through the gate you feel like you’ve stepped into a little paradise – the apartments are top‑notch, the garden feels magical, and the breakfast is outstanding. The staff’s kindness was something I hadn’t seen before in Costa Rica, truly pura vida. The only downside is that it’s a bit off the main road, but that hardly matters compared with the overall beauty.

The pool and the rooms were both solid highlights of the stay. Breakfast was the same every morning, which got a little monotonous, though the quality stayed good. Also, there are two dogs roaming the property, so anyone with allergies should keep that in mind.
