“Trivdes bra i detta hus och med Kalix i försommarsolen.”

They didn't serve breakfast, but the kitchen was good with a fridge/freezer and more. The newly renovated room felt very fresh, and the new bathroom had a shower. The location was great and central, with cheap parking outside the building. The house’s exterior suggested a simpler standard, yet the ongoing renovation was pleasantly surprising. Guests had to take care of themselves during the stay. The room was small, and making a double bed for a solo traveler felt unnecessary. The new all‑covering carpet could cause problems for allergy sufferers after some use.

“Superbra och trevligt boende. Kommer gärna tillbaka.”

The host was friendly and provided service beyond what I could have expected; because of the heavy fog I got a lift to the station. It’s a nice hostel with good kitchen equipment, a pleasant common area, a nice room with a comfortable bed and a private toilet. The central location and the people in Kalix were great. I’ll definitely come back!

The anti‑slip measures were poor.

The place is central. There was no airflow in the room, which might be fine if it’s not too hot outside, but the room was warmer than the sun outside, making it hard to sleep because of the heat, and it was very quiet through the doors.

It’s close to the city center and a campsite. I was there in summer, and the room was hot, but luckily I could open the window.
