The front desk staff were very friendly, and the room, though small, had all the essentials. It was quiet and the bed was comfortable, so we slept soundly, and the location was spot‑on. We did wish there were two duvets, and the breakfast could have been more exciting.

The reception was friendly, and the area near the opera is very pleasant. The hotel sits next to pubs, so it can be a bit noisy, especially for a ground‑floor room.

The room was spotless, but it was extremely small—hardly adequate for two people. The distance from the city centre was a bit far, yet acceptable. We could hear noise from other rooms, and the cleaning lady knocked on our door and entered to clean even after we told her not to.
