Sleeping on the floor on a thin mattress with the floor heater on was one of the best experiences and very comfortable. A simple breakfast of toast and cereal with milk was a pleasant treat. The renovated Hanok is beautiful and worth a visit. The host was very friendly, and there are many restaurants nearby. After 9 pm it’s hard to find an open restaurant in the immediate area.

Great spot right next to the fort, we slept on the floor on thin mattresses that we could lay out ourselves (we slept well), the bathroom is Korean style, there’s a communal kitchen, and free public parking in front of the building. Rooms are a bit small.

The spot was convenient and the shared parking in front made dropping off the car a breeze, but the cleanliness left a lot to be desired.

The building’s charm and location were highlights, yet the toilet could barely fit four people, and the futon area only offered a single layer, lacking both a base and a top.
