“Lovely homestay experience”

The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed; after staying in many basic homestays in Vietnam, this was the best, with thoughtful touches like a room water dispenser, books, a small lounge upstairs, and a shared balcony, all of which set it apart. The family were kind and welcoming, and the location was great—near the night market but on a quieter street. The market noise was audible when it was running, but it didn’t stay up too late, so it didn’t bother us.

Getting to Dragon Bridge, Han, Con, and Dong Da markets, plus the Son Tra night markets, was very easy, and the rooftop bar was close enough that sleep came easy. The bed was hard but comfortable, and the pillows weren’t to my taste, but when I mentioned it, new ones were provided. A wash service was offered one day even though I didn’t need it, which I appreciated, and on my last day Mr Khanh rode me on the back of his motorbike to the airport. He was very kind, and unlimited free water was available. I don’t love Vietnamese wet bathrooms; even though the shower had a partition, the drain was on the other side of the room and the water ran around the toilet and hand basin. Just make sure you use non‑slip shower shoes if you’re old like me.

“Хорошее соотношение цена- качество!”

The spot’s great—close to cheap cafés, the mattress’s comfy, and the host is chill, friendly, and always helpful. Daily board games and Uno keep things lively. The hot water didn’t kick in right away and wasn’t consistent, and the karaoke in the neighboring building was a bit loud. I’m big, so it felt a touch cramped, but it’s perfect for a 1‑2 night stay.
