I’ve been here twice; the first time the room was fantastic, but the second time we got 304 and it was a disaster—rock‑hard bed, shower leaking onto the floor through the screen, AC had to be maxed out because it was cold, and the lighting was awful with no direct light at the mirror and the bathroom mirror steamed up completely.

Getting to the room was very difficult, the room itself was tiny and horrible, and the place didn’t smell good.

This old building has a lot of history and the staff were friendly and helpful; it’s ideally situated for easy access to Heathrow Airport, and the bar and restaurant offered reasonable food. The only downside was that one bath towel was missing from our double room, which we only noticed after taking a morning shower, forcing us to share a single towel.
