“Een heerlijk verblijf gehad. Het was te kort”
Directly on the beach, great swimming pools, and the connecting room with our kids was perfect; there was nothing negative.

The staff were very friendly, but the place didn’t offer value for money.

Everything was very clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable, and the garden was beautiful and meticulously maintained; breakfast never lacked anything, leaning more salty than sweet but fine, with eggs, pancakes and crepes cooked to order, plus evening entertainment with live music, karaoke and even traditional instrument players one morning. The property and especially the rooms feel quite dated and could use a renovation, but overall it was satisfactory; only four beach loungers were available, the restaurant’s menu is mainly Indonesian and Asian, the food is often very spicy, pungent and sweet‑sour, which isn’t an issue for us omnivores but perhaps a more international selection would please a wider crowd.

They never posted the bad ratings on the front page, only the friendly staff. Breakfast was bad, bland, and poorly varied, with repetitive menus and high prices. There was a burnt garbage smell, the beach was dirty with dogs and plastic, and it was very uncomfortable. The bathrooms had barely any light, were old, and lacked water pressure. No Wi‑Fi. Absolutely not recommended.

This place needs a serious upgrade; it opened in the 90s and probably hasn’t been touched since. We stayed in a superior room that felt like a dungeon—dark, echoey corridors, noisy guests walking around, and damp air, especially in the twin room. The other room was even worse. The pool area was nice and the bar was okay. It was pleasant to sit on the patio outside the rooms, directly on the beach with lovely sunsets. I don’t see how it earned its ratings. It’s cheap to stay, but you know it.
