“Basis en in het centrum.”
The price is fine; I only need the basic amenities. I can’t expect much for this price. So okay.

The location and price were good, but the furnishings were very plain.

The host was friendly but inflexible; when we arrived a few minutes late for breakfast she greeted us with “You’re not punctual!” The first‑time request for fried egg and scrambled eggs was served automatically the next days without us ordering differently, even placed on the table. It was especially annoying that card payment wasn’t accepted at the final bill for breakfast.

The beds were super soft and the pillows perfect; rooms were spotless with no dust. Breakfast was generous and complete, and the lady—probably a co‑owner—made scrambled eggs for me and was friendly, especially when I struggled with German. Linnich isn’t a town I’d recommend, especially on a Sunday, but that’s outside the hotel’s control. A few loud people shouted late at night, but it stopped before midnight, and the same for indoor TV noise. The interior design feels a bit dated and the amenities are minimal: a bed, TV, nightstand, chair, wardrobe and a bathroom.

Finding the place was hard; the entrance door was the same as the dentist’s in the building. I’m surprised there’s no breakfast in a hotel!
