“Na”
The location was great, but overall it was just good.
“Laundry”
The services were fine, but I was very upset and told the staff at the counter right away. I asked about laundry, she said there was one and asked how much, but she had no idea, saying it depends on the laundry services, so I decided to give it a try. We mentioned no ironing, if I recall. When the laundry was done, the bill was Rs 1540—unfairly expensive. She said standard ironing was included, so I asked if she would iron my bra and panties, which seemed unreasonable; she told me they would iron those too. This was cut‑throat; you should give the price details and options first. Also, there should be separate charges for ironing and no‑ironing, and a clear kilo‑rate. There is no such thing, so I don't know the price! Please improve this. Guests need to leave the hotel satisfied; I wouldn't come back. Take this as feedback and improve it.
Mr.Depesh at the reception desk was very welcoming and patient with our queries, and the rooms at dee cee are much bigger than standard rooms; the hotel’s location near Tnagar and West Mambalam makes commuting easy without getting stuck in Chennai traffic, so overall our stay was relaxing and we’d definitely stay at the Dee cee again when we visit Chennai. The buffet was a bit lacking.
I asked early in the morning if a room was available and whether I would have to pay extra. The reply was “yes, if there is one free and no extra fee.” When I arrived, I was told it was impossible. I showed the message, but the receptionist refused to listen and eventually gave me a room at 10 am.
The staff were helpful, the room was spacious and clean, but we stayed in a suite where the air‑conditioner and fan were noisy and the AC didn't work properly—it wasn't cold. Toiletries weren't replenished as expected, and the bathroom smelled bad. The location isn't really in the shopping center's core; it's not a comfortable walking distance, so you need a taxi. Flies were spotted in the restaurant.
