The staff were lovely and the rooftop area was nice, though the property itself was pleasant but the surrounding streets felt quite deserted.

The location was good, convenient for Hollywood, Santa Monica, and other beaches, but the room was small and there was no free bottled water.

I was extremely disappointed with how AC Hotel Beverly Hills by Marriott handled my situation. I arrived with my son for a three‑night stay, but we couldn’t stay because the room windows wouldn’t open. I have claustrophobia, and a completely closed room caused severe anxiety. I told reception right away, but the hotel couldn’t give us a room with an opening window, so we had to leave and pay elsewhere. Marissa at reception was helpful, and after speaking with manager Alex, she told me the three nights would be refunded. I returned the next day, and Iziah said he would remind the manager about the refund. Since then I’ve received no refund or proper response, even after following up and asking for a clear written update. What’s especially disappointing is that I relied on the staff’s assurance that the refund had been approved. I understand hotels have policies, but when a manager promises a refund, that promise should be honored—or at least the hotel should communicate what’s happening. The lack of response and failure to follow through on the promise has left me with a very negative impression, and I would not recommend this hotel based on how my case was handled after I left.
