Great spot, double bed cozy, single bed not as comfortable. The room smelled of smoke, and it would have been useful to know that one morning drink was included in the booking.

Breakfast was mostly the same each day, lighting in the room was incomplete, the hair dryer in the bathroom was taped, there was no butter for breakfast one day, parking behind the building was awful, entry and exit zones were not visually marked, the exit lane was used for parking cutting the angle, and when no help was available the risk of property damage was high, confirmed by other guests. I damaged my car while pulling out, reported it to reception, and the response was unhelpful. I have an appointment with an expert tomorrow and paid 50 EUR in the designated “Parkbereich Castel” to avoid further stress.

Hotel close to the center and near Lake Garda, good base for exploring, breakfast tasty with a good selection, the owner was very friendly and tried to solve every issue that arose, but the parking was small and rooms could use a refresh.

My partner and I appreciated the staff’s availability and kindness, the cozy feeling the Hotel Matina offers, the generous breakfast with both sweet and savory options, and the central location that lets us reach the center of Torri Del Benaco in just 5 minutes. No complaints.
