The place is super convenient, but when we asked to change rooms because of a strong mold smell, we ended up in a smaller room with a sofa‑bed instead of a proper bed, the power cut out in the middle of the night and we had to handle the situation ourselves because no night concierge ever answered.

The hygiene was absolutely awful: dirt everywhere, a bathtub full of dead insects, dust everywhere, a dirty and stained duvet with footprints that looked like cat prints, water leaking through the walls. We complained on Booking because the front‑desk staff wouldn’t give us the owner’s reference, so we called the city police to report the situation. We couldn’t leave that night because of a water bomb in the city, so we slept in our clothes and left the filthy room the next morning. The city tax was charged as soon as we arrived and we were never given breakfast tickets (“I’ll bring them tomorrow morning”). The next morning the reception was empty. I demand a full refund to avoid legal action and further moral and material damages.

The location is fine, but the mattress is in terrible condition and you can’t sleep on it, plus it has a nasty smell that makes you want to leave.

The location is great, just a stone’s throw from the historic center, but the towels and sheets are worn, you need mosquito nets, and with the mess in Lecce the McDonald’s breakfast is unacceptable.

The location could be decent. Breakfast is just a voucher for a drink and a dry croissant at McDonald’s, the bed was at least okay, otherwise nothing. The “furnishings” look like 1960s IKEA, probably old. All towels were either frayed, had holes or were almost falling apart. The shower was barely usable because the entrance is only 25‑30 cm wide. The toilet has a tiny glass that lets you choose which hole you use. The worst: the Siphons are leaking, it smells like a sewage plant all the time. The entrance gate to the street is hard to get in and out of, it sticks to the floor after a few centimeters. The list could go on.
