The historical aspect of the property was great! Such a beautiful hotel. The young lady that checked us in was a sweetheart. Our room did not have a refrigerator or a microwave; due to late night travel we picked up frozen meals and she actually heated everything up for us and brought our meals to our room. The location is great. Our dogs loved the big, beautiful front lawn. Breakfast was five stars! So delicious! The server was amazing-I think she also works in housekeeping also and is top notch. We were on a multi week tour of Wyoming and actually went back to Sheridan and hoped to stay there again but they were sold out. I totally understand why! I highly recommend this property. Would like more lighting in the side parking lot. It’s terribly dark and that’s the main parking area. After a day or two we got used to not having a microwave and refrigerator but they are still really nice to have

“Beautiful historic hotel!”

The room and bath with a clawfoot tub were lovely, and the bed was comfortable. The included breakfast felt like a chef‑cooked meal rather than a run‑of‑the‑mill café. Beautiful historic hotel—we’d stay again!

No breakfast was offered, but the restaurant is very nice. Staying longer would be preferable.

“We loved the front porch and overall feel & history of the hotel.”

Breakfast was good, and we liked the hotel’s location. We enjoyed sitting outside on the covered porch and were lucky to have great weather. The property’s historic feel was appreciated. We did wish the dinner room had been available for dining. We couldn’t connect to Wi‑Fi because there was no paper in our room with instructions, and we didn’t want to bother the front desk; perhaps the information was overlooked.
