It’s easily reachable and not in a noisy, high‑traffic area. It’s still a work in progress, but the effort to keep improving it is clear.

There was a strong natural gas smell near the rear entrance; I told the desk clerk, who said he knew about it and wouldn’t call anyone to investigate. We left because we didn’t want to risk waking up dead, so we didn’t stay overnight. Apparently, they have a no‑refund policy if the room doesn’t meet basic safety standards. We booked a room at a hotel in Springfield, IL, and stayed there. I will never book with the Wyndham chain again—worst experience ever!
