No meals were provided, but the host was friendly and the décor and art were gorgeous; Louise supplied everything we needed to eat in, including a small fridge, and I appreciated the coffee with a plunger, the tasty rusks, and the fruit. The pillows on the bed were a drawback, and the recommended breakfast spot was closed.

You enter the room from the back of the house through a jammed door onto uneven bricks, then onto a narrow strip of grass that’s clearly used by dogs, judging by the mess left behind—won’t return.
